Saying Thank-You or offering an Apology when it is expected actually doesn't net you much in return. However, failing to offer either when it is expected will cost you big time. Don't overlook the value of small courtesies... or of their potential cost.
Bear in mind though... offering a Thank-You or an Apology when either is unexpected? Pure gold!
