Confident people have a greater tendency to stand in the center of the 'action', whereas those with less confidence will stick to the outlying areas. Therefore, simply standing in the center will have others believing you to be confident - even when you're not feeling it!

This is a very short but very powerful tip. If you want to appear confident during networking situations... stand in the center of the room.
